Bliss Restaurant is located in heart of Mariensztat, historical district of capital of Poland, only 500 meters from Royal Castle, one of the most known monuments of Warsaw. It should make Bliss attractive for tourists, but place is never crowded. Restaurant was opened in 1995. In the past received some prizes for their food. The owner of the restaurant (older Chinese gentleman) is almost always there. He used to ask guests about food, atmosphere etc.Actually I like atmosphere of Bliss and I like their food so much. In Warsaw is a lot of restaurants offer people Chinese food, but only few of them provide real Chinese taste. Bliss is one of them. If someone wants to try real Baozi, not “five-spice chicken” should visit this place. Hot and Sour Soup and Steamed Dumplings with meat and vegetables are delicious appetizers before main dishes. I also tried Spring Rolls and Fried Dumplings – both worth to try. Salads menu offers various dishes typical for China: Cabbage in sweet and sour sauce, Cucumbers in sweet and sour sauce and delicious Kimchi (actually came from Korea, but is very popular in China). From vide selection of main dishes my favorites are: Eggplant “Bliss” (fried eggplant with tomato and pepper in sweet garlic sauce), MaPo Tofu (fried tofu in hot garlic sauce), and Crispy Duck with hot garlic sauce and Beef in Sichuan Style (beef fried with pepper and bamboo in hot garlic sauce). If somebody is a big fan of rice and noodles also can find something interesting in Bliss menu. My propositions are: Fried Rice with egg and vegetables or Hand-made Noodles fried with pork and vegetables.
